November 2019 Thanksgiving Service: Rising Stars

Good morning Dearly Beloved,

Welcome another Thanksgiving Sunday Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Thank God for all He has done for us all from the beginning of this year 2019 also, for the things He will do for us before this year cones to an end.

This morning, we are here to meet the Creator of all things and He has called us Rising Stars. Let's therefore come before Him with dancing and celebration hearts to glorify Him.

God bless you...

Summary of November 2019 Thanksgiving Service.

Topic: Rising Stars
Text: 1 Corinthians 15:41

A star is someone who is outstanding/excellent in whatever he does.
There are different categories of students in the educational sector.
We have the Brilliant ones. Brilliant is a combination of two words: Bright and Light.
Scientifically, A star is a burning gas. The hotter it burns, the brighter it gets.
Scripturally, A star is someone who knows that he is nothing but inside him is the Consuming Fire.
The day you accept that without Christ you are nothing, then you become a star. Colossians 1:27.
Rising means moving upwards. 2 Corinthians 3:15.
There are 3 possibilities to stars.
A star can be stagnant.
A star can be going upwards.
A star can be falling.
In nature, there's no room for stagnation. The moment you don't rise, you fall!
When a star is stagnant, it will soon cease to be
When talking about rising stars, it means people who are ready to burn for God. Philippians 3:12-14.
If a star has already fallen but then realizes that He needs God, God has the power to lift Him up again. Daniel 4.
It doesn't matter how low you have gone, when God steps in you will rise again.
The Almighty God who made you, wants you to be a star! The day you realize without God you are nothing is the day you start rising.
If you disassociate from Him, your star starts falling.
If you want be a star and remain a rising star, you have to surrender your life to God.

Prayer: Father Let my Star keep on rising, Don't Let my Light become darkness.

The lake of fire is the final dwelling place for those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life  Rev. 20:15 . We should thank God for the revelation His Word gives us concerning Heaven. If we are in Christ, we are Heaven-bound!  We should also thank God for what scripture says about hell . Those who haven’t made Jesus their Lord are not  Heaven-bound. Christians need to reach these people with the Gospel. We must let them know there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Who’s Who There once were books that listed people who achieved a degree of prominence in the arts and sciences, in business, and in various professions. Sometimes it’s interesting to know “who’s who” in life. The Bible also gives us a “who’s who” in hell, so to speak. Revelation 21:8 (NKJV) 8. But the cowardly, unbeli
