THEME: ARE YOU GROWING?

Memorise:
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in The Word of Righteousness: for he is a babe." Hebrews 5:13

Read: Hebrews 5:11-14
11. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in The Word of Righteousness: for he is a babe.
14. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Message:
A. Attaining maturity in The Kingdom of God is a process that occurs in stages, the first of which is babyhood.
1. When a person becomes Born Again, he or she has to first learn the basic principles of life in Christ.
2. Believers at this stage are fed with The Milk of Gods Word.
3. 1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn babes, desire The Pure Milk of The word, that you may grow thereby,
4. They cannot take anything hard because they are babies.
5. They depend on others to simplify processes for them.
6. Just like babies in the natural realm, other people must carry them and clean them up; all they do is eat, play and sleep.
7. If you are too dependent on others, you are most likely still in the babyhood stage spiritually, irrespective of your biological age.
8. If you are very selective of The Tord of God you read, believe and practice, you are a baby.
9. If you are always complaining about other people, what they did and how they did it, you could just be a baby.
10. Spiritual babies are so dependant on the prayers of others.
11. When confronted by the storms of life, if instead of going on your knees to pray, you find yourself pursuing one pastor or prophet around to pray for you, it is because you need to grow up.

B. Another level of maturity is Adulthood.
1. Christians in this stage are mature and no longer depend on milk but eat strong meat.
2. Hebrews 5:14 says this about them: “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
3. One major difference between those in Babyhood and those in The Adulthood stage of maturity is their level of discernment.
4. Babes cannot discern anything.
5. Anywhere people erect a signpost and call it a church, a babe will go there to worship.
6. To him or her, every church is a Church of God.
7. On the other hand, adults are more discerning.
8. They are able to test every spirit they come in contact with by comparing the character of such spirits with The Holy Scriptures.
9. They are also able to apply the “fruit test”, for every tree will be identified by the fruit it produces.
10. An adult Christian is able to differentiate between good and evil.
11. He or she can tell who is a servant of God and who is not.
12. Can you call yourself an adult Christian? How sharp is your ability to discern? Are you able to discern between right and wrong?
13. It is amazing that some Christians, who claim to have been saved for several years, still cannot discern between true and false prophets.
14. Are you fellowshipping with people you should not be fellowshipping with?
15. Can you differentiate the Holy Spirit from unclean spirits at any point in time?

Prayer Point:
Father, Please, grant me The Grace to grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ in Jesus' Name. Amen!

HYMN: DEEPER, DEEPER

1. Deeper, deeper in the love of Jesus
Daily let me go;
Higher, higher in the school of wisdom,
More of grace to know.

O deeper yet, I pray,
And higher every day,
And wiser, blessed Lord,
In Thy precious, holy Word.

2. Deeper, deeper, blessed Holy Spirit,
Take me deeper still,
Till my life is wholly lost in Jesus,
And His perfect will.
Chorus:

3. Deeper, deeper! though it cost hard trials,
Deeper let me go!
Rooted in the holy love of Jesus,
Let me fruitful grow.
Chorus:

4. Deeper, higher, every day in Jesus,
Till all conflict past,
Finds me conqu'ror, and in His own image
Perfected at last.
Chorus:

5. Deeper, deeper in the faith of Jesus,
Holy faith and true;
In His pow'r and soul exulting wisdom
Let me peace pursue.
Chorus.

Who’s Who in Hell by Kenneth E. Hagin

Everyone will face  eternity one day. The righteous enter “life eternal” Matt. 25:46 , and the unrighteous are cast into hell or the lake of fire Rev. 20:15 . The lake of fire is the final dwelling place for those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life  Rev. 20:15 . We should thank God for the revelation His Word gives us concerning Heaven. If we are in Christ, we are Heaven-bound!  We should also thank God for what scripture says about hell . Those who haven’t made Jesus their Lord are not  Heaven-bound. Christians need to reach these people with the Gospel. We must let them know there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Who’s Who There once were books that listed people who achieved a degree of prominence in the arts and sciences, in business, and in various professions. Sometimes it’s interesting to know “who’s who” in life. The Bible also gives us a “who’s who” in hell, so to speak. Revelation 21:8 (NKJV) 8. But the cowardly, unbeli

Pure healing: Pure healing means total healing without any sign(scars included) or remnants of a prior illness. Mark 8:22-25, John 9:1-7. Pure healing could require a second touch or a recreation. Romans 4:19, John 11:39-45, 2 Kings 5:1-14. 2. Let There be Light could mean God give me pure life. It could mean life; a life full of vitality and vigour.
