Sunday Sermon: Burden shall be lifted

I know very many of us have missed seeing our church, we'll try to keep up the habit of uploading our Sunday parish services as soon as possible and more regularly. For now, you can enjoy yesterday's service while we work on having the audio messages available to us soonest.

The transcripts of Key words is also added beneath the message.

God bless you.

The Transcripts
Prayers before message:
1. My Father, if there is anything in my body that has gone bad beyond repair, restore it in full in the name of Jesus.
2. Put a new song in mouth this season in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, let the tide turn in my favour this morning in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, help me to be the next to testify in the name of Jesus.
5. Turn my life into a major Testimony in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, prove your Almightiness in my life from this moment in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, hear my cry this morning and meet me at the very point of my need in the name of Jesus.
8. Heavenly Father, cause me to overflow, let my neighbor notice the things You've in my life.

This God you're here to see, you'll see Him live and direct in Jesus name.

We serve a God that we can see and He proves Himself in all areas. God will reveal Himself to you in Jesus name.

Ministering: Deacon Akorede Abanikanda

Don't take your problem above God. The moment you do that, you have downgraded and limited God. What is making this generation to remain in one place is because we don't give glory to God. We need to put ourselves in the level of the testimony for us to receive it. Learn to return the glory to Him.

Genesis 17:1 God told Abraham to walk before Him and be perfect. Are you still pressing on??? Those that said they wanted to go back to Egypt never got to the promise land.

Topic: Burden shall be lifted.
Text: Matthew 11:28-30
28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30 KJV

What is burden? Burden is a load. While you're on earth, there will always be a burden. 'Your burden will not kill you in Jesus name.

The Bible said your soul will find rest because it's your soul that makes you alive, Genesis 2:7. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The job of the burden is to weaken one, to keep one under. Jesus as come to take away our burdens. If you put your trust in man, they will fail you. If God doesn't remove your burden, you die under it.

Examples of Burdens.
Helping others: It is compulsory to help few believers. Romans 15:1-8. As a believer, rendering help is a must. 1 Thessalonians 5:14. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
Exodus 23:5 KJV. Galatians 6:2. James 2:8. To fulfill the law of Christ, you must love everyone. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3 KJV.

Do not help with the mind of getting something back. 1 Corinthians 8:2. If you think you know something, you're just coming up. If God doesn't help you, you cannot help anyone.

Leadership can be a burden. Number 11:11-16. Leadership is not your job, of is the job of God. Never underrate those under you. Moses killed himself when asked God to kill him.

Deuteronomy 1:9-12. God will give our leaders Grace in Jesus name. 1 Kings 3:7-11. The reason why you're there as a leader is to ask God for grace.

Prosperity can be a burden. Until Jesus steps in. You need the understanding of God to avoid burdens. Matthew 20:11.

Sin is a burden to a believer. Job 7:20-21. For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. Psalms 38:4 KJV. Your words can be a burden. Life is full of burdens. But he that walk with the wise shall be wise. Don't just be hearer but the doer of the Word.

A lot of things can be a burden. The easiest way to overcome all your burden is to submit it to God.

Prayer: Father, I cast all my burden, lift them off me completely in Jesus name.

Who’s Who in Hell by Kenneth E. Hagin

Everyone will face  eternity one day. The righteous enter “life eternal” Matt. 25:46 , and the unrighteous are cast into hell or the lake of fire Rev. 20:15 . The lake of fire is the final dwelling place for those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life  Rev. 20:15 . We should thank God for the revelation His Word gives us concerning Heaven. If we are in Christ, we are Heaven-bound!  We should also thank God for what scripture says about hell . Those who haven’t made Jesus their Lord are not  Heaven-bound. Christians need to reach these people with the Gospel. We must let them know there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Who’s Who There once were books that listed people who achieved a degree of prominence in the arts and sciences, in business, and in various professions. Sometimes it’s interesting to know “who’s who” in life. The Bible also gives us a “who’s who” in hell, so to speak. Revelation 21:8 (NKJV) 8. But t...
