Sunday Sermon: Burden shall be lifted part 2

Pre-Message Charge

There is a Word of God, and a Word from God

The Word of God is general, while the Word from God is a direct message to you.

It takes you and God to have a secret place to get a Word from God. Matters that pertains to you life, God sends it directly to you rather than discussing it with other people.

2 Kings 23:4‭-‬5 KJV
And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Beth–el.
5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

Leave service, go into the realm of Worship. Don't go any day without hearing from God. It would be the greatest mistake if you can't hear the Word from God. Not hearing from God makes you struggle. Come to Jesus so you can be righteous. Whatever you do that makes you feel like you're up there, you're only deceiving yourself.

Sunday Sermon

Topic: Burden Shall be Lifted Part II

Text: 1 Samuel 1:2‭-‬20 KJV

2. And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
3. And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord , were there.
4. And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
5But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the Lord had shut up her womb.
6. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.
7. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the Lord , so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
8. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?
9. So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord.
10. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord , and wept sore.
11. _And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head._
12. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord , that Eli marked her mouth.
13. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15. And Hannah answered and said, No, my Lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.
16. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
17. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
18. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
19. And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord , and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.
20. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord .

The bigger the challenges you encounter the greater you're expected to be. The type of difficulty a child experiences is quite different from those for adults. When others are confused and give up you're not expected to give up as a believer. Grow from being just a Christian to being a Believer. God as prepared  a greater glory for every challenge you encounter and overcome. What unbelievers find fun should trouble you to practice. You're still alive because God isn't done with you.

Don't be afraid of your burdens, they'll always be there. Always be ready to answer questions and make sure you pass. The only way to always pass is in God. Prepare for the troubles of this world. The day you become a Christian you're call to battle and soldiers don't learn how to shoot at the battle front.

Burdens can steal one's appetite.

The only person who can help you with your problem is God. Genesis 32:1-20. Jacob took some alone time to focus on God. Woe to him that lay his hope in man or trust in the arm of flesh. Any Problem God cannot solve, no one can solve it. Luke 11:13. Hold onto your light. Be careful not to fall. There is a portion that belongs to you in God.

The more of the Word of God you consume, the bigger you become. Position yourself to receive the blessing God has prepared for you.

Five things that must happen your life if you believe in God
1. God must See you, as He say Hannah. It is our responsibility to position ourselves to be seen. God doesn't want to see sinners, God cannot behold iniquity, so stay away from sin. John 5:28-37. Father, before I leave here this morning, see me.

John 9:1-7, Mark 2:1-7. Jesus saw the Faith of people and healed people. Father, by Your Mercy, see me before I leave this place in Jesus name.

2. You be able to Ear God. I Kings 19:9-17. If you cannot hear God or God cannot hear you, your life is at stake. Jesus spoke to the Father even on earth. Acts 16:25-35. Paul and Silas prayed and God heard them. Father, every prayers I've prayed before and those I'd still pray, please hear them all, in Jesus name

3. Exodus 15:16-17. Words spoken in the Secret place of God. If God cannot speak to you, you're shortchanging yourself. Father, before the sun sets today, speak to me in Jesus name.

4. Isaiah 10:27. You need to touch God or God touches you. Matthew 8:1-3, Jesus touched lepers, Luke , Jesus touched the coffin of a dead man and he came to life. Mark 5:25-35. The woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus and recovered. Make sure there is a touching, either He touch's you or you touch Him. Be determined. Father, before the sun sets today and I'm here today, touch me or help me to touch you in Jesus name.

5. The Breathe of the Almighty God. Exodus 15:8-10. Genesis 2:7. The Breathe of God gives life to everything. Without the Breathe of God you will fail. Father, breath the Breathe of Life into me now, in the name of Jesus.

Who’s Who in Hell by Kenneth E. Hagin

Everyone will face  eternity one day. The righteous enter “life eternal” Matt. 25:46 , and the unrighteous are cast into hell or the lake of fire Rev. 20:15 . The lake of fire is the final dwelling place for those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life  Rev. 20:15 . We should thank God for the revelation His Word gives us concerning Heaven. If we are in Christ, we are Heaven-bound!  We should also thank God for what scripture says about hell . Those who haven’t made Jesus their Lord are not  Heaven-bound. Christians need to reach these people with the Gospel. We must let them know there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Who’s Who There once were books that listed people who achieved a degree of prominence in the arts and sciences, in business, and in various professions. Sometimes it’s interesting to know “who’s who” in life. The Bible also gives us a “who’s who” in hell, so to speak. Revelation 21:8 (NKJV) 8. But the cowardly, unbeli
