June 2020 Thanksgiving Service

Welcome to this month's Thanksgiving Service

Oh Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His mercies endure forever. Psalms 137.

For the duration that we've all been joining our Father to Fellowship, in the midst of pandemic, we had no real reason to panic.

TEXT: ISAIAH 40:28-31

We give You all the glory,
We give You honour
We give You all the glory,
We give You honour

TEXT: Isaiah 40:28-31
[28]Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

[29]He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

[30]Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

[31]But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

MESSAGE:
Our Bible text tells us to wait on the Lord if we want to fly over mountains.

The one who waits is called a waiter.
The job of the waiter is to:
- Sit the guest
- Bring you a drink as you look over the menu
- Provide you good food
- Stand by to wait on you until you're satisfied.

Your duty is to wait on God. God is your guest and you're the waiter.

How Do You Get Him To Sit Down?
1. Psalms 132:7-8. You will worship God, and then invite Him to His sit.

2. Serve Him water: John 19:28.

3. Present God with the food of His Choice. (John 4:23-24). Serve Him what He likes

If you want God to be satisfied with your food, you must worship God in spirit and in truth.

4. Treat God with honour through praise - Psalm 50:23. Offer Him praise

5. Make sure God is fully satisfied. Revelations 4:8-11. That is why we call it waiting.

Example of someone that carried out the above in the bible;
In Genesis 18:1-14: Abraham fed the Divine guests, he entertained them and waited on them.
Waiting on the Lord requires you to worship and praise Him.
Waiting on Him does not mean bombarding Him with requests.

God is not the waiter, you are! So stop bombarding God with requests.
When a waiter has satisfied a customer,  the customer won't leave without giving a tip.
The greater the customer the greater the tip.

When you have satisfied your guest (God) and he has given you a tip, you can fly over mountains,
1. You can fly over the mountain of failure. (Luke 5:1-11)
You want to fly over failure, make God happy.

2. You want to fly over the mountain of poverty, wait on the Lord. (1 Kings 17:8-16)
3. If you wait on the Lord correctly, you will fly over the mountain of barrenness (2 Kings 4:8-17)

4. If you wait on the Lord correctly, you will fly over the mountain of physical Lock down. (Acts 16:16-34)

If you wait on God correctly, you will fly over spiritual Lock down.
5. If you wait on God correctly, you will fly over spiritual Lock down.

Are you in bondage? Do you have a problem that cannot be explained?
If you wait on the Lord correctly by worshipping, you will fly over that mountain.

6. If you wait on God correctly, you will fly over spiritual Lock down.
For some people, the lockdown will be over sooner than later.
If you learn to worship God, you will see the lockdown becoming an asset rather than a problem.

7. If you wait on God correctly, you can fly over the mountain of Death. (2 Kings 2:9-11)

When the Lord shall return, those of us who remain will fly over the mountain of death to meet Him.
Genesis 5:24, Hebrews 11:5,1Thessalonians 4:16-17

CONCLUSION:
If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, don't waste your time praising God. He's not interested in the praise of those who are not His children.
Proverbs 15:8: The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

If you want to praise Him & worship Him, with which mouth do you want to praise God, with the same mouth that you are using to kiss Satan, the same mouth that is still lying?
So you want to praise Him from the bottom of your heart, which kind of heart? The one that is wicked, that is still devising evil means.
And yet if you don't join those who are praising Him, you are not going at the rapture. So in your own interest , surrender your life to Jesus, let His blood wash you clean, then and only then that your praise can be acceptable unto Him.

ALTER CALL:
Those of you that want to surrender your lives to Christ, please do so now. He does not want sacrifice of praise of anyone that is still living in sin.
Bow your head, call on Him to save your soul, to wash you clean with His blood, to include you in the family of God and o f those who can praise and worship Him acceptably in spirit & truth.

PRAYER:
Saviour thank You once again, thank you for this people who have decided to surrender their lives, please accept them Lord.

As your children begin to praise you, let them begin to fly over mountains of sickness, poverty, barrenness, failure, lockdown (either physically or spiritually) or of death. Those that doctors says there is nothing we can do again, as they begin to praise You, give them wings to fly over their mountains. When You shall return, please Lord count us worthy. Thank you Almighty God, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Who’s Who in Hell by Kenneth E. Hagin

Everyone will face  eternity one day. The righteous enter “life eternal” Matt. 25:46 , and the unrighteous are cast into hell or the lake of fire Rev. 20:15 . The lake of fire is the final dwelling place for those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life  Rev. 20:15 . We should thank God for the revelation His Word gives us concerning Heaven. If we are in Christ, we are Heaven-bound!  We should also thank God for what scripture says about hell . Those who haven’t made Jesus their Lord are not  Heaven-bound. Christians need to reach these people with the Gospel. We must let them know there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Who’s Who There once were books that listed people who achieved a degree of prominence in the arts and sciences, in business, and in various professions. Sometimes it’s interesting to know “who’s who” in life. The Bible also gives us a “who’s who” in hell, so to speak. Revelation 21:8 (NKJV) 8. But the cowardly, unbeli
