TOPIC: THE CASE OF JAIRUS’ DAUGHTER

The Holy One of Israel, we worship You. The One who can bring something out of nothing, we worship You. Our God who had been with us in the past and is still with us now and will always be with us, we bow before You. Father, please, accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. We thank You for the period of special divine encounters of last year and we thank You for this period again in this new year. We are asking Lord God Almighty that during these three days of special divine encounters, everyone of Your children will have very special divine encounters. So that by the end of the three days, we will not just be flying but we will be soaring very high. So let it be Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

THE MESSAGE
TEXT - MARK CHAPTER 5
22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
THE CASE OF JAIRUS’ DAUGHTER.
It is possible to go from the ground into the sky and fly.
It is possible for the Almighty God to pick somebody from the dunghill and take him to the throne.
1 Samuel 2:7-8, He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes.
According to Numbers 20:1-11, It is possible for God not only to bring something out of nothing, but to bring it in an overflowing manner.
The children of Israel wanted water in the desert and water came out of the rock abundantly.
In 2 Kings 4:1-7, It is possible for God to take somebody who is destitute and move him or her to a level where he or she will have more than enough for the rest of his or her life.
PRAYER:
In this year's special divine encounter, God is going to pick somebody from the lowest possible level and take him or her to the highest possible level.
When Jarius' daughter died, a whole generation died with her. She had an encounter with God and the tide turned.
It doesn't matter how low you are; physically, financially and maritally, just an encounter with my God can pick you from the lowest ground and lift you to a very high level.
LESSONS FROM THE CASE OF JAIRUS’ DAUGHTER.
1. The fact that your miracle is delayed does not mean it is not going to happen.
Mark 25-34.
GOOD NEWS
Your miracle is delayed so that your testimony can be bigger.
PRAYER:
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, you will have outstanding testimony this year.
2. He who laughs last laughs best.
Daniel 3:1-30.
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore.
Matthew 27:40-42.
3. When God wants to do something mighty for you, particularly financially, He needs to get rid of fake friends and sympathisers.
Some blessings are for you alone.
There are some blessings God does not want you to share with anybody.
In Genesis 12:1-14, God promised to bless Abraham mightily.
In Genesis 13:1-18, when Lot departed from Abraham, God was ready to fulfil His promise.
DECREE:
Anyone who is just waiting to devour your blessing shall be removed very soon.
Fake friends and fake sympathisers must be exposed and expelled before the Almighty God will begin to do great things.
2 Kings 4:1-7.
There are some blessings that must be private.
There are some testimonies you don't even want to share until they are complete.
PRAYER:
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, before this year is out, you will be flying.
4. After the Lord raised the girl from the dead, He said, ‘give her something to eat’.
It is not enough to resurrect, you have to eat in order to continue to fly.
It is not enough for you to begin to prosper now and have a breakthrough, you must stay close to God.
In Psalm 1:1-3, One of the conditions for being blessed is to meditate on the word of God day and night.
Don't forget God when the miracles come.
5. The girl paid no part at all in her divine encounter.
Everything that brought her divine encounter was through her father.
You need your father’s blessing.
He who has a father will go further because he will be able to climb on the shoulders of the father and see further.
Do everything possible to get your father’s blessing at least once in a year. Do something that will make your father say to you, ‘God bless you’.
You will be preparing yourself for a divine encounter that comes through the father particularly your spiritual father.
6. Don't forget God when He gives you divine encounters.
Galatians 2:20-21, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Live the rest of your life for Him.
Those of you who are true children of the living God, get ready for even a mighty divine encounter today, but make up your mind to serve God with everything He brings your way.
ALTAR CALL
There is a Father that is above all fathers; the Father of fathers. His name is Jesus. If you give your life to Him, He will link you with the Father in heaven and every divine encounter you can ever hope for will become available to you. It is written, My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Give your life to Jesus Christ, let Him become Your Father who will link you up to the divine encounter and see to it that all your needs are met.
SALVATION PRAYER:
If you are yet to give your life to Jesus Christ, wherever you are, bow your head and cry to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer: ‘Please, save my soul. I want You to become my Father. I want You to become my link to the Almighty God Himself. Save my soul Lord. Receive me into the family of God and I promise to serve You forevermore’.
Children of the living God, cry to God.
Prayer: 'Please, this very day, move me from the ground into the sky. Let me begin to soar now through the Lord Jesus Christ my Father in heaven'.
My Father and my God, I want to thank You for Your word. I want to thank You for all these people who are surrendering their lives to You now. I can't see them but You can see them. Receive each and everyone of them Oh Lord. Save their souls. Forgive all their sins. Write their names in the Book of Life. From now on, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by fire.
CLOSING PRAYER
As for all Your children, my Father and my God, because Your word says, all need shall be met according to the riches of our God in heaven through You. Lord Jesus Christ, I’m praying that even before tomorrow morning, the breakthrough they have been waiting for will come. Every false friend surrounding these people that has been hindering the coming of their breakthroughs, in Your own miraculous way, dismiss them all. Even by tomorrow, Lord God Almighty, let Your children begin to see the way forward. Thank You Father. In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. The Holy One of Israel. The All-Sufficient God. The Helper of the helpless, we worship You. Thank You for yesterday, thank You for what You are going to do today and thank You in advance for what You will do tomorrow, please, accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. Lord God Almighty, in this second day of the special divine encounter series, give us even a bigger miracle than yesterday. In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

THE MESSAGE
TEXT - LUKE CHAPTER 7
11 And it came to pass the day after that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
LESSONS FROM THE STORY OF THE SON OF THE WIDOW OF NAIN.
1. Don't bury me yet because help is on the way.
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, the widow of Zarephath was planning to eat her last meal and die but help came.
PRAYER:
I trust my God in heaven, for all of you my children, help will arrive for you today.
In Daniel 3:20-25, when they threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the fiery furnace, the king thought their end had come, but there was help waiting for them in the fiery furnace.
PRAYERS:
i. You may not know it, there is help already waiting in your house.
ii. Your way to the top will be accelerated by somebody somewhere that the Almighty God Himself has arranged to be the help for you in this season.
In Daniel 6:1-22, when they threw Daniel into the den of lions, they thought they had buried him but they left an angel out of their calculation.
PRAYER:
The one that the Almighty God will use to help you will surface very soon.
2. Don't wash your net yet.
In Luke 5:1-7, Peter fished all night and caught nothing, he was already washing his net not knowing that help was on the way.
Don't close down that business because help is on the way.
Don't write yourself off. Even if others want to bury you, don't bury yourself.
Dare to dream again.
NOVEMBER 2020 HOLY GHOST SERVICE.
Get the tape of November 2020 Holy Ghost service and listen to it again.
In Exodus 3 & 4:1-20, Moses had a dream once that he would be a deliverer of the children of Israel but after forty years in exile, he had forgotten the dream. When God paid him a visit, at the end of the day, he was on his way to be a deliverer that he had dreamt before.
Don't bury yourself.
Joshua 14:6-14 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou hearest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said.
Stop dreaming small dreams, dream of taking mountains.
Don't ask for a hill, the Almighty God can bless you mightily.
In Genesis 21:1-7, Sarah said, ‘at the age of ninety one, who would have thought I can still bring forth a child’.
You can still surprise the coffin bearers.
I'm believing God for you for a miracle that will frighten those who are close to you.
If you can join your faith with mine, you will never need those carrying you again.
In Mark 2:1-11, the young man was brought in by four men because he was paralysed from neck downward, he had an encounter with God and he never needed anyone to carry him again.
PRAYER:
Very soon, you will be helping those who are helping you.
3. You can change the story of your family.
DECREE:
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, sympathisers won't come to your house again.
Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
PRAYER:
As a result of the divine encounter you're about to have, your joy begins.
Even if your family is great, there is nothing stopping you from being greater than the greatest in your family.
In Genesis 24:34-35, Abraham was great.
In Genesis 26:12-14, Issac was very great.
PRAYER:
You can be greater than the greatest man in your family and in the mighty name of Jesus, you will be.
The boy’s story brought the name of the city, Nain, into the Bible.
God can use you to bring your town/village into the world map.
The Lord used me to bring the name of my village, Ifèwàrà, to the world map.
You can have a big encounter with God that will put your village on the map of the world.
God can give you a breakthrough that can transform your family from unknown to world renowned.
Issac produced Jacob, Jacob got his name changed to Israel.
PRAYER:
God can give you a single divine encounter that will cause you to be known throughout the world, so shall it be.
GOD’S REQUIREMENTS FROM YOU SO THAT YOU CAN BE GREATER THAN THE GREATEST IN YOUR FAMILY.
Genesis 22:1-18.
1. You must love the God of your father passionately.
Love the God of Adeboye passionately.
You must learn to worship God more than me.
Don't say you are too young to pay your tithe.
2. Submit to your father completely.
Genesis 22:9 "And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood."
I am where I am today because God gave me the grace to surrender to my father-in-the-Lord.
3. You must be willing to be the firstfruit sacrifice.
If you want to be greater than your father, don't just give your firstfruit, make yourself the firstfruit.
Offer your life a living sacrifice to the Almighty God.
ALTAR CALL
If you are not born again, surrender to Jesus hundred percent so that you can be a living sacrifice in His hands.
If you want to surrender to Jesus, bow your head and ask Him to take over your life.
SALVATION PRAYER:
Prayer: ‘I'm accepting You not just as my Saviour but as my Lord. I just want You to take over my life completely and I will serve You for the rest of my life’.
My Father and my God, I want to thank You for Your word again. I'm asking Lord God Almighty that You will look down with mercy upon all these Your children who are surrendering their lives to You now wherever they are, please, receive them. Save their souls. Let Your blood wash away their sins. Receive them into the family of God. Lord God Almighty, as they are surrendering to You not just as Saviour but as Lord, let their future be glorious. Let them be far greater than the greatest in their family. Thank You my Father.
CLOSING PRAYER
As for all Your children, who are saying, ‘Lord, I'm not just going to give You my firstfruit, I will be the firstfruit sacrifice for the rest of my life, please Lord, remember Your promise that those who honour You with their firstfruit, You will bless them so much that they won't have room to contain the blessing, fulfil Your promise for Your children and make them far greater than all their parents. In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

Precious people, praise the Lord
Father Almighty God, we will praise You. You are the only One worthy to be praised and we will praise You. You are the Great Provider. You are the One who can bring something out of nothing, we will praise You. You are the One who can promote from the dunghill till You put us on the throne, we will praise You. We thank You for what You did on the first day of this special divine encounter. Thank You for what You did yesterday. Thank You for what You will do today, the concluding day of the series, Father, accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. We commit our future into Your hands, we know it is going to be glorious, we say be glorified Lord in advance. In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

THE MESSAGE
TEXT - JOHN CHAPTER 11
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
The greatest miracles of all, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.
PRAYER:
The Almighty God is going to give you a breakthrough that will bring millions into the kingdom of God.
LESSONS FROM THE STORY OF LAZARUS.
1. Those who have written you off will get a surprise.
John chapter 1
45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
PRAYERS:
i. God will surprise those who think you cannot become anything.
ii. Because of an encounter you are going to have with God today, even your brothers will come to you for cover.
In 1 Samuel 22:1-2, when David went to the cave of Adullam, his brothers came to him including Eliab.
1 Samuel 17:20-29.
Verse28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
In Genesis 50:15-18, the brothers of Joseph fell before him and said, ‘we will be your servants’.
PRAYER:
By that special encounter that God is going to give to you, everybody in your family will say, ‘you are the boss’.
In Genesis 26:12-16, when Issac came to Gerar, he had nothing. By the time God finished with him, the king said, ‘Sir, you have become mightier than me’.
PRAYER:
In that name that is above every other name, at least one of you listening to me today will one day be greater than a nation.
2. Some may ask, 'Where is your God?'
In Exodus 5:1-2, And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.
In Exodus 12:30-36, after one special divine encounter, Pharaoh sent for Moses and told him to go and worship God.
PRAYER:
Before the end of this year, your God will prove Himself.
3. It was the very hand that rolled the stone against the tomb of Lazarus that rolled the stone away.
In Mark 10:46-52, when Bartimaeus was crying to Jesus Christ for mercy, the crowd told him to shut up and the crowd later said, 'be of good comfort, He is calling you'.
PRAYER:
All those who thought your destiny is already sealed, God will use them to unseal it.
4. When they were putting Lazarus in the tomb they bound him with grave clothes. The same people that bond him lose him.
PRAYER:
Incase there had been anyone responsible for your financial predicament, one day, they will tremble at your greatness.
In Genesis 27:30-35, Jacob stole the blessing of Esau.
In Genesis 32:1-7, after about twenty years, when Jacob heard about Esau coming to meet him with four hundred men, he trembled.
PRAYER:
All those who for one reason or the other had been hindering your promotion, very soon, they will tremble at your greatness.
5. Your latter end will be better than the formal.
If Lazarus had died quietly, if Jesus did not raise him, we won't be taking about him now.
PRAYER:
If Jesus tarries, hundred years from now, people will still be talking about your greatness.
Job 42:12-16 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
PRAYER:
Your end will be far better than your beginning in Jesus’ name.
A VERY GREAT SECRET.
The biggest miracle Jesus performed apart from dying to save our souls was the case of Lazarus.
John 11:2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
Mark 14:3-5 Mary gave precious things to Jesus and He rewarded her in a way the whole world knew about the reward.
WHAT IS YOUR ALABASTER BOX OF OIL?
Do you want the biggest miracle of all?
Nothing goes for nothing.
The more you love Him, the more you must prove it to Him that you love Him.
What is your Alabaster box of oil?
PRAYER:
May God give you the grace to release your Alabaster box of oil to Him.
ALTAR CALL
Those of you who have not given your life to Jesus, what is the best thing you can give than your life?
Give Him your life and He will give you the greatest miracle in return.
CHILDREN OF GOD, JUST ASK FOR GRACE:
Father, there is nothing I have that I didn't get from You. If there is anything You wants from me, just let me know and You can have it.
SALVATION PRAYER:
Prayer: ‘Lord, please save me my soul. Just as I am, I come to You, receive me. Turn me to a vessel unto honour in Your hands and I will serve You all for the rest my life’.
My Father and my God I want to thank You. I want to give You all glory and honour for everything You have done these past three days. We thank You especially for those who are surrendering their lives to You now, Father, please, receive them. Save their souls. Have mercy on them. Wash them clean with Your blood. Please, write their names in the Book of Life. Father, I pray from now on that anytime they cry unto You, You will answer them by fire.
CLOSING PRAYER
As for those of us who are Your children, please Lord, anything You want from us; anything that could represent a kind of set up for test breakthrough of our lives, just whisper to us and give us the grace to obey. In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
