January 2020 Holy Communion Service: Let There Be Light

Happy New Year once again,

Welcome to the first Holy Communion Service of the year, where we come to eat a meal with the potential of carrying us through the year. Like Elijah ate that meal and went in the power of the meal, so shall you be fed and empowered to crush the devil and all his agent that crosses your path this year in Jesus name.

Remain blessed.

January 2020 Holy Communion Service
Theme: Let There Be Light
Topic: The meal that seals the turn around.
Bible text: John 21:12-19
Preacher: Pastor E. A. Adeboye

  • That test that will be greater than your faith will never come your way.
  • God arranged a divine visitation for Peter.
  • You are here for a divine visitation. God saw to it that for the rest of the life of Peter, he never wept again.
  • This divine encounter arranged for Peter, God saw to it that Peter will never backslide. God saw to it that Peter will never have fruitless efforts.
  • God gave opportunities to Peter three times. He gave him an opportunity to recommit himself and tell Jesus he loves Him.
  • Feed my lamb: the young ones, new converts. Feed my sheep; the matured ones, disciples.
  • In one night, so many things happened to one man. Peter won souls and nurtured them. All these happened after Jesus Christ said come and dine.
  • Of all the holy communion services, mark this one in your diary. You are not just taking the first holy communion of this year, it’s also the first holy communion of the decade.
  • Make up your mind tonight and surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

Prayer Points
  1. Father, anyone I pray for will receive their miracle.
  2. Father, put a seal on my turn around and restore me to my destiny fully.
  3. Father, everyone I’m touching now, before this time next month, let them be free of sickness.

Who’s Who in Hell by Kenneth E. Hagin

Everyone will face  eternity one day. The righteous enter “life eternal” Matt. 25:46 , and the unrighteous are cast into hell or the lake of fire Rev. 20:15 . The lake of fire is the final dwelling place for those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life  Rev. 20:15 . We should thank God for the revelation His Word gives us concerning Heaven. If we are in Christ, we are Heaven-bound!  We should also thank God for what scripture says about hell . Those who haven’t made Jesus their Lord are not  Heaven-bound. Christians need to reach these people with the Gospel. We must let them know there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Who’s Who There once were books that listed people who achieved a degree of prominence in the arts and sciences, in business, and in various professions. Sometimes it’s interesting to know “who’s who” in life. The Bible also gives us a “who’s who” in hell, so to speak. Revelation 21:8 (NKJV) 8. But t...
